Audience privacy and Close Friends controls
Set who can view your daily story uploads and configure list members.
Step-by-Step Instructions

Go to your Profile settings and tap "Story Audience Privacy".

Choose your default audience visibility: Everyone, Followers, or Close Friends Only.

To set up a custom viewing list, click the "Close Friends" tab.

Search for usernames, select profiles you want to include, and click "Save List".

When posting a Story, tap the green Close Friends badge at the bottom of the publisher.
Support Tips
- Profiles you add to your Close Friends list are never notified of the change.
- Your Close Friends stories are marked with a green outer ring on their home dashboard.
